Sydney, Australia – (September 12, 2025) – American driver Feras Qartoumy etched his name in the record books at the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge (WTAC), claiming victory in the PRO AM Class at Sydney Motorsport Park and becoming the first American to both win and set a class record at the prestigious international event—behind the wheel of his Corvette time attack machine powered by VP Racing fuels, lubricants, and coolant.
Behind the wheel of his VP Racing-powered C6 Corvette, Qartoumy clocked an astonishing 1:23.2 lap, shattering the previous record of 1:24.6 set by the legendary Tilton Mitsubishi Evo. The win marked his second consecutive WTAC championship and further cemented his status as a global force in time attack competition. Despite battling corner-entry understeer and conservative boost settings throughout the week, when it mattered most the Corvette delivered. In night conditions with maximum grip, Qartoumy executed a near-perfect lap that stunned fans and competitors alike.
