Kurt Johnson brings decades of experience in professional motorsports, first as a team owner and later in key roles with Schumacher Racing and most recently Tony Stewart Racing in NHRA. Known worldwide as one of the premier track preparation and surface managers, Johnson’s expertise extends beyond the team level, he has managed iconic facilities including Indianapolis Raceway Park and Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. His dedication to perfecting track surfaces led to the creation of Total Venue Concepts, a company that specializes in restoring and preparing tracks to record-setting condition using VP Racing’s full line of traction compounds.
