VP 4-Cycle Fuel is a 94 octane, ethanol-free fuel formulated specifically for 4-cycle small engines. Pump gas with ethanol attracts moisture, forms varnish deposits, and clogs carburetors, especially in equipment that sits between seasons. VP 4-Cycle Fuel eliminates that problem entirely. It stays stable for 2 years in the tank and 5 years sealed in the can, so your mower, generator, or snow blower starts when you need it, not after a carburetor rebuild.
Formulated with higher-grade base stocks by the same team that has been building world-class racing fuels for over 50 years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does VP 4-Cycle Fuel replace a fuel stabilizer? Yes. Because VP 4-Cycle Fuel is ethanol-free and formulated with high-grade base stocks, it remains stable for 2 years in the tank and 5 years in the sealed container without any added stabilizer. You do not need to add STA-BIL or similar products when using VP 4-Cycle Fuel.
Is VP 4-Cycle Fuel safe for all 4-cycle engines? Yes. It passes the warranty requirements of all major 4-cycle engine manufacturers, including Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, and Honda. It contains no oil and is compatible with all 4-cycle outdoor power equipment.
Why is ethanol bad for small engines? Ethanol is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air. In small engine carburetors, that moisture accumulates in the float bowl, causing rust, corrosion, and gummy deposits that clog jets and prevent starting. Equipment that sits for weeks or months between uses is especially vulnerable. Ethanol-free fuel eliminates this failure mode entirely.
Can I use VP 4-Cycle Fuel in a 2-cycle engine? No. VP 4-Cycle Fuel contains no oil and is not suitable for 2-cycle engines, which require a premixed oil-and-fuel blend. For 2-cycle equipment, use VP's 50:1 Fuel Mix.
What sizes does VP 4-Cycle Fuel come in? VP 4-Cycle Fuel is available in 1 quart, 1 gallon, 2.5 gallon pail, 5 gallon pail, and 54 gallon drum.

WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm - https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/
Because of regulations from the federal government’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), our fuel shipper assesses a surcharge above and beyond the standard shipping charge for each 6-gallon case of fuel ordered.
This charge will be included in the shipping charges for the fuel.
What fuel should I use in my lawn mower?
If you're like most, pump gas is your 4-cycle fuel choice for lawnmowers, generators, pressure washers, & other 4-cycle equipment. Did you know that pump gas can destroy your expensive equipment? You might think if it's good enough for your vehicle, it should work great in your lawnmower.
But that's not the case. Why? The big issue is ethanol, which is an oxygenate additive. Ethanol is fine for cars and trucks but not for small engines. For one thing, ethanol absorbs water, which promotes corrosion. Corrosion eats at the small vital components in your expensive outdoor equipment. Before you know it, you're spending hundreds of dollars to get a carburetor rebuilt for your lawn mower, or even worse, a lot more to buy new equipment.
Another problem is pump gas degrades fast & forms gums + varnish faster, so you can't store it long-term unless you spend more money on a fuel stabilizer. Fuel stabilizers help to a degree, but they can't undo damage already caused by pump gas; the genie is already out of the bottle.
If you've been using pump gas & your lawn mower won't start (or any other outdoor power equipment), use VP Fix-It-Fuel.
Our Can Is Full. Is Yours?
When you purchase a one-gallon container of our Small Engine Fuel, you get a whole gallon (128 oz.). Well, duh, right? Have you ever checked the 4-cycle fuel label from the competition? Take a close look at their gallon container, and you'll see it contains...110 ounces? That's right, not even a whole gallon. Now you know why competing brands seem to be a little less expensive. You're getting less product.
Keep that 4-cycle engine in your outdoor power equipment running smoothly and efficiently with VP 4-Cycle Small Engine Fuel.
