San Antonio, TX (September 23, 2026) – An affiliate of VP Racing has acquired Alamo Premium Distillery, a San Antonio-based distillery recognized for its premium spirits, craftsmanship, and contract distilling expertise. As part of the transaction, Alamo Premium Distillery has been granted the exclusive license to produce the VP Racing Spirits portfolio, including the recently launched Grand Tour Collection.
Alamo Premium Distillery will continue operating from its San Antonio facility, where its team will oversee spirit production, bottling, packaging, product development, and commercialization efforts for VP Racing Spirits. They will also continue providing production services for third-party customers, preserving an important part of its business while supporting future growth.
For more than 50 years, VP Racing has earned the trust of enthusiasts through a commitment to performance, quality, innovation, and reliability. Those same values inspired the creation of VP Racing Spirits and the launch of the Grand Tour Collection, extending the brand's legacy into the premium spirits category through destination-driven storytelling, premium presentation, and memorable consumer experiences.
The Grand Tour Collection launched with Twisted Sisters Texas Whiskey, the first spirit in a destination-inspired portfolio celebrating iconic roads and legendary destinations. Tail of the Dragon Tennessee Whiskey and Bucktail Trail Rye Whiskey are coming soon, with additional spirits planned for future release as the collection grows toward its vision of seven spirits inspired by seven unforgettable destinations. Each expression is designed to capture the character of a historic location while celebrating exploration, craftsmanship, and the journey that connects them all.
