VP Racing specific contingency decals must be placed in a visible, outward-facing location on both sides of the vehicle. To qualify, racers must have purchased VP Racing Fuel within 30 days of the event being posted for contingency. Proof of receipt must bear racer’s name, date of purchase, location and amount purchased. This receipt and a W9 must be uploaded to VP contingency submission form at VPRacingFuels.com/NHRA-Contingency.

VP Racing lubricants specific contingency decals must be placed in a visible, outward-facing location on both sides of the vehicle. To qualify, racers must purchase at least (4) cases total of any combination of VP Racing engine oil, gear oil, and/or transmission fluid. This singular purchase order will qualify their one vehicle for contingency for the full calendar season. Proof of receipt must bear racer’s name, date of purchase, location and amount purchased. This receipt and a W9 must be uploaded to VP contingency submission form at VPRacingFuels.com/NHRA-Contingency.

VP Racing’s contingency program rewards racers who use VP race fuels and lubricants in NHRA competition. Eligible participants can earn cash payouts for first-place and runner-up finishes in designated classes.
VP Racing has enhanced its existing race fuel contingency program and introduced a new contingency program for lubricants, further supporting racers across multiple NHRA series.
The race fuel contingency program applies to all professional and sportsman classes in the Mission Foods NHRA National Event Series and the Lucas Oil Divisional Sportsman Series. The lubricants contingency program applies to all NHRA Mission Foods series classes, except for Top Fuel Dragster, Fuel Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Bike, and Pro Mod.
Racers must use VP Racing-approved fuels and/or lubricants and display the required VP Racing decals on their vehicles. First-place and runner-up finishers in eligible classes will receive cash payouts.
The expanded contingency program launches at the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, FL, and will be available for the 2025 season.
