Position Summary

The Brand Activation Specialist collaborates closely with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement a successful marketing strategy for generating awareness, preference and demand for VP Racing Fuels’ products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, activate, and positively represent VP Racing Fuels at field marketing activities such as fan zones, promotional giveaways, influencer appearances, ride-a-longs, and other experiential touch points
  • Act as a liaison between VP Racing Fuels and key external stakeholders such as track personnel, show promoters, and VP Racing Fuels dealers and retailers
  • Work closely with the Event Marketing Manager, Demand Manager, multiple race series, and retailers to ensure cohesive brand messaging and execution

Job Description

Position Summary

You will plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns to generate measurable brand/product awareness and demand that result in sales. This includes both demand and customer marketing across multiple marketing channels (paid media, owned media, and earned media). Your primary focus will be creating awareness and demand for our consumer automotive and outdoor equipment fuels, lubricants, coolants, additives and merchandise available through auto parts and DIY retailers. VP Racing Fuels is seeking a passionate Retail Graphic Designer who will be responsible for designing product labels, merchandising (POP, displays), and in-store promotional assets for our packaged additives/lubricants as well as branded convenience store licensees. Our consumer products are sold at automotive parts stores, home improvement stores, and general merchandise retailers such as Walmart and Amazon.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed conceptual and communication skills, ability to create compelling graphic design layouts, execute multiple creative projects, and deliver quality work on short deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A portfolio of retail design experience is a pre-requisite for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with VP of Marketing to achieve seasonal vision and brand consistency across all retail environments
  • Conceptualize and design for multiple consumer touchpoints: product packaging labels, displays, store signage, POP, window door clings, and printed marketing collateral
  • Maintain design consistency and style across varying media and specs to uphold company brand standards and positioning within the marketplace
  • Carefully proof/review all packaging design files including variable copy, UPCs, distribution compliance information, logo usage and color
  • Coordinate with Legal and third-party compliance partners to ensure legal/trademark and localization requirements are met for export markets
  • Communicate with product development and regulatory teams throughout the design process, including reviewing and proofing packaging
  • Work with photographers for packaging images and execute re-touching, color correction, and manipulation of photography (as needed)

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Retail Graphic Designer with a thorough knowledge of design principals: layout, typography, color theory, brand identity

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: You will manage the data and processes regarding Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Cases, Opportunities, Campaigns as well as other custom objects. You will work with sales on new sales lead initiatives, marketing on email marketing integration and initiatives, etc. As new and evolving initiatives arise, you will assess the impact of these initiatives on existing CRM data and process flows and work with stakeholders to plan the design changes needed. You will work as an individual and as a valued team member to develop, configure and/or customize high-quality Force.com solutions to satisfy mission-critical business needs.

  • Translating business processes into scalable systems solutions.
  • Facilitating effective and proactive communication with key stakeholders and end users

Position Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2+ years of experience with SFDC administration.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks such as creating/editing Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email to Case, Approvals, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards and KPI’s.
  • Salesforce.com implementation and support experience including minimum Salesforce.com certification ADM201 or DEV401 preferred.

  • Proven problem-solving skills in the area of integrations.

  • In partnership with Marketing, build mini social blasts for major launch/announcement including details of content plan, partner marketing, paid promotion, event plan, etc.
  • Attend strategic events to amplify real-time new, announcements and launches and via social channels a) to customers, media, industry experts, partners and influencers.
  • Manage comments across brands that come in via social channels and work with appropriate team members to engage in thoughtful conversation where appropriate.
  • Develop social media templates and best practices to share with Sales to improve consistency, amplification and overall reach.
  • Monitor evolving social media trends and best practices for continuous improvement.
