San Antonio, Texas, USA (January 9, 2019) VP Racing Fuels, recognized around the world for performance fuels and chemicals, is bringing a full showcase of new products to the Autosport International Show at the NEC in Birmingham, including their two-time award winner STAY FROSTY™ Race Ready Coolant.
“Our R&D team worked all year to develop an impressive new line of products for racers and general consumers,” said Peter Coleman, VP’s Business Development Consultant for Europe. “At SEMA and then at the Performance Racing Industry Show, the largest automotive performance trade events in North America, VP’s new STAY FROSTY was named one of the best new products for 2019.” Coleman continued, “It’s a testament to VP’s relentless development of products not just for racing but for enthusiasts and general consumers. We invite everyone to stop by our stand #2787 to what else is new for 2019.”
STAY FROSTY is a proprietary coolant formulated for engines that require additional protection from overheating and is available in high performance and a ready to use race formula. In road and off-road uses, operating temperatures are reduced by up to 15°C compared to the conventional glycol-based coolants. For race applications, the ready to use STAY FROSTY race formula can reduce temperatures by as much as 50°C, and since there’s no glycol, track surfaces won’t get slippery if there’s a spill or leak.
VP’s new product showcase also features Octanium™ Unleaded. This high-tech octane booster increases octane up to 7 numbers and improves throttle response and acceleration performance. It cleans fuel injectors, eliminates gum and varnish build-up, and acts as a lead substitute. One bottle treats up to 38 liters of petrol, increasing octane by up to 70 points.
VP Classic™ non-synthetic racing oils will be on display at Autosport and are available in 10W-30, 20W-50, and SAE 30 weights offering a friction reducing additive, strong detergent, and superior film strength. Classic SAE 80-W-90 API GL-4 Hi-Performance gear oil for use in traditional manual transmissions compliments the line. VP’s Traditional™ non-synthetic racing oils in SAE 50 and SAE 60 provide heavier viscosity with the enhancements offered by the Classics and built for extremely stressed competition engines fueled by racing fuel, gasoline, diesel, alcohol, or nitro-methane.
In addition, VP’s custom blend lubricant product line now offers NITRO Hi-Performance SAE 70 racing oil for use in nitro-fueled engines only, an EX HP High Performance full synthetic SAE 0W-50 racing oil, and VP Diesel Compression Ignition 1 full synthetic racing oil in SAE 5W-40. VP’s new Hi-Performance 75W-140LS full synthetic limited slip and 80W-140LS conventional limited-slip API GL-5 gear oils round out the new line of performance lubricants.
VP may be best known for developing top quality products that make power and provide engine, cooling system, and drivetrain lubrication but the new product showcase doesn’t stop there. VP’s New 622 RACING BRAKE FLUID is a full synthetic that offers high temp stability, resists vapor lock, and resists fade for better pedal feel.
