The momentum of VP Racing Fuels’ retail branding program continues unabated with the latest boost provided by Convenience Store Decisions magazine, which named VP a “Chain to Watch” in its August issue.   The publication annually features retail chains that show solid growth potential through differentiation and innovation.

In an article titled “VP Racing Fuels Speeds Forward,” the editor focuses on the strategy by which VP Racing Fuels offers smaller chains a way to compete with major regional players. Key features of VP’s branded program are described as “a recognizable brand with a strong following among racing fans, a branded racing fuel product line and a way to save on costs.”
The article explains how VP’s program helps retailers maximize fuel margins, provides interchange relief with low credit card swipe fees and offers new revenue streams from an array of VP-branded products ranging from performance chemicals to apparel. Also called out is the simplicity and flexibility of VP’s imaging program, in addition to the financing assistance available through VP’s preferred lender, Allied Brand Capital (formerly Allied Brand Services).
“It’s gratifying to achieve this recognition from one of the most prominent publications serving the c-store industry,” said Alan Cerwick.  “It’s a testament to the strength of our brand, the uniqueness and credibility of our retail branding concept, and the ability of our program to deliver the highest competitive advantage for retailers confronting a changing industry.”
